The Ukrainian phaleristics has not revealed its secrets in full yet because for many centuries it has not an independent position and was not recognized. Thus, the traditions of the Russian symbols predominate in Ukrainian work of arts. This applies not only our country as the decoration system of the Russian empire was widespread and predominant.

Of course, it would be unlawfully to change the fundamentals of this science, but just to breathe the spirit and symbols of our country into our "phalers" should be an important step toward the further development of the Ukrainian decoration system. How many countries can boast having such unique, original and distinctive symbols like Ukraine? Our culture is so unique, many-sided that our orders, insignias and crosses should be most beautiful in artistic design.
